Refund Policy
Last updated: March 1, 2026
As the creator of Commentrix, I want you to be happy with your purchase. You can try the free version first to make sure it works for your needs.
When I can refund
I’ll happily refund your purchase if:
- The tool doesn’t work as advertised due to a technical issue
- I can’t fix the problem quickly
- The issue is caused by my code, not external factors
When I can’t refund
I don’t offer refunds for:
- Features you already tested in the free version
- Change of mind
- Misunderstanding the tool’s capabilities
- Content availability - app servers are located in the USA and EU, downloads are processed on all of them randomly, if the content happen to be blocked in one of these regions, I can’t do anything about it.
Additional non-refundable cases for desktop app
YouTube rate limits and blocks
YouTube has limits on comment downloads, but they’re quite generous. You’d need to download millions of comments very aggressively to hit these limits. If you somehow manage to download too much, YouTube may temporarily block your IP. I cannot refund if YouTube blocks you for excessive downloading.
Blocked access to YouTube
The app runs on your device and needs internet access to YouTube’s servers. Think of it like a web browser - if you can’t open youtube.com, the app won’t work either. If YouTube is blocked in your country by your government or internet provider, the app can’t magically bypass this. Using a VPN might help, but I cannot guarantee it or provide refunds in such cases.
How to get help
If something’s not working:
- Contact me and explain the issue
- I usually respond within minutes, but give me up to 24 hours
- If I confirm it’s a problem with my product and can’t fix it, I’ll process your refund
Refund timeline
Once approved, refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days, depending on your payment method. Your bank might take a few extra days to show it.
